HISTORY LESSON
"Kidnapping" was originally literally as it sounds - the practice of stealing children so that they could be set to work by others. Like "impressment" (the practice of taking people and forcing them to join a military force or be crew on a ship) it was one of the formative practices of what became capitalism. This has always been based on force and theft.

I have in past writing argued for anarchy on a biological basis as every living organism is self-organising and must be. It must have or develop the ability to prolong its own existence. You will not be surprised to learn that "extreme eugenics" is not on my personal wishlist, however.

That's interesting and why I followed you. I knew immediately we'd have opposed views but hoped we might have the patience to hear each other out. I consider myself a nihilist too. My current book that I am working on is about nihilism and anarchy. Anarchism, I imagine, is about taking rather than disclaiming responsibility. But, of course, "For what?" is the key question there and I personally begin with the self believing that "the fate of humanity" is not my immediate concern.

I'm not a primitivist. You can't unlearn what you already know. I see anarchism not as a Utopia but as a strategy for living in the antagonistic present. That said, some things are just stupid. Setting fire to your waste or just throwing it behind you is bound to end in tears.

In my writing I actually argue anti-Malthusian arguments. "Civilisation" is not a thing and has no agency. Its a human word. Civilisation is bad because of its consequences, nearly all of which are shoved under the carpet.

Well there we disagree. My authority is me and your authority is you. We can work together or go our own ways but that is, and should always be, up to us. The issue is that authority is taken away from everyone by arbitrary others. Restore that authority to its rightful place and then leave people alone. Fat chance, most likely. Your example is easy to solve. You can't victimise hypothetical beliefs but you can victimise people. So targeting Muslims, who are people, is more serious (harmful) than targeting Allah.
Consequently, "your god is shit" is vulgar opinion but "kill the Muslims and burn down their building" is a physical threat. The latter should be illegal, the former not.
How I understand freedom of speech is "You can say anything you like but consequences may vary."

Its to be remembered here that whiteness is as constructed as all other racial identities. For bigots like Trump its all about skin colour and white is "not coloured", a purely negative category with no attributes of its own. Thus why you can be a German Scottish American without hassle and you can be from one of hundreds of non-white cultures but its all just "black".
