Nice. I also use IceCubes on my iPad, but I've gone back to the official Mastodon app on my Android app. I was using Moshidon, but there were a couple of behavioural things I didn't like about it.

When you install a mastodon app, you have to authorise it, and the authorisation sits in your account settings. When you delete the app, the authorisation remains in place.

I'm just doing some reading up on Reddit, and one suggestion is to remove unneeded apps from the authorised apps list. I had a LOT (probably a lot of testing over the years!), so I've removed everything apart from the current, and we'll see how it goes.

Another one for the misty series. This has been a much-photographed shelter, but I love it when the fog and mist is close. It brings an isolation you wouldn't see any other time. My own gripe (because I'm picky) is that the street light is not on.

I think I'm going to have an easier time of it if the privacy concerns become more apparent. Maybe some national or international incident would push the urgency. I have the apps on the phone, but just no-one is know is using it.

I've recently moved over to photog.social, as I feel it's more in line with what I want to get out of the platform. I think I should probably introduce myself with the same first post that I used over there.
The first post is always a tricky beast to master. You don't want to go all-in with telling everyone everything, and you don't want to be deliberately vague.
