My agent had me look at ~80 houses. I saw outlets in ceilings. I saw a basement entirely made of glazed tile. I saw a house owned by an avowed anarchist who rented the bedrooms and had deadbolts on every door. As Roy Batty said it, things you people wouldn't believe.
There is very little that compels one to get a permit, at least in #Seattle. Most people I know are irate about inspections as an expensive time wasting bother.

I am reconsidering Bluesky.
I don't trust how it's owned and, for me (a small follower account) being there feels like Twitter in a bad way. I like people here better.
But what I'm seeing is @npub1vl7…f6g0 express excitement that Threads is nearing federation and not showing much (any?) interest in adding basic safety features like this one you mentioned. It's disappointing.
