Maybe there is a NIP (or it’s in the making, no doubt) for storing a blob on a Nostr Relay (say a video, MP3 or picture) for x months for an amount of satoshi (maybe payed over eCash?)
If such a NIP exists then we could imagine that a podcast-over-Nostr is possible.
If we had a NIP that forces the downloaded instead of the uploaded to pay a fee we could imagine that a popular enough file is available for years on a Relay 🤔

I read that Saylor is planning to dilute the current shares about a hundredfold. If that is true I assume the current value to be diluted by one hundred too.

If, and that is a big if, I know, if we don’t need to work in the “fiat mines” to get money because we live a simpeler life on a farm-ish place, we could homeschool our kids. No need for dedicated schools at all, unless you want to learn a speciality later in life 🤔
I’m dreaming again, i know. For now, learning a bit about farming would be a net positive. But unless we teach kids about regenerative and organic farming, all they will remember is how the slaw they tried to grow in school was eaten by snails 🐌.

Yes. A thousand times yes!
But with the increased pressure to produce cheaper, organic went out of the window and a few billion extra people could be fed cheaply.
My ideal world would be one where we all have our own plot of land and do our own farming and gardening 🥰
This requires a big global shakeup 🤔 and possibly we need to geo-engineer our planet to make Siberia, the Mongolian desert, the Sahara and all of Australia not just habitable but positively blooming.

Basically, twitter gets money from influencers for putting their notes higher. What if #nostr had a similar system? But the sats could flow to whomever is willing to watch the note and the wallet or Nostr client creators 🤔

One person’s censorship is another person’s spam filter 🤔
But I’ve no idea if that is the reason. Whomever built that bot wanted to make a point I guess. The point has been made (spam is on our radar, for now) and the community is working on a variety of solutions. This is the way forward.

Are there any serious methods of decentralised storage? I’ve read about storing files in a blob/string inside a #nostr note itself, which puts the onus of work (storing and distributing) squarely on the relay. Another method that I think isn’t getting enough attention is the usage of Torrents.
