Fedifriends, help me find fun sightseeing and touristy things in San Francisco that are wheelchair accessible.
More context: My in-laws are visiting from the UK next week and one of them uses a mobility scooter or wheelchair (can also get around short distances on crutches). We will not have access to a car, so we have to get around by public transit, cabs, etc.
They enjoy people watching, gardens, birds, hanging out in cafes, and talking to the locals.
So far I was thinking they might like JFK Promenade and the surrounding museums, the Botanical Garden, and taking a boat tour of the bay.
On a meta level, I don’t quite know how to research this so I’d appreciate meta tips as well.

I need some help understanding the MIT software license, because I have a conundrum.
I'm using a blog temlate licensed under the MIT license https://github.com/11ty/eleventy-base-blog/blob/main/LICENSE
The license requires this copyright notice to the software creator, if I understand it correctly.
However, this is a problem for me, because I don't want to attribute the content of my blog, which I have in the same repo, to the copyright holder of the software. That would be ridiculous, and I'm pretty sure that's not what he wants. I've kept the repo private, and mostly not thought about it.
But now I want to upgrade versions and I'm thinking about it and it's bothering me.
I have some ridiculous ideas for how to solve the conundrum, including using a different template, or figuring out some stupid way to split the blog contents and the package, but I hope it doesn't come to that.

User stories for legible knitting patterns
Knitting patterns are written like minified code. People don't normally read code when it's minified, but we knitters have to follow patterns formatted to fit limited space in print. Knitting patterns could be a lot more legible and enjoyable to use if they broke free of the constraints of print. I have written my suggestions in the form of user stories.

I’m going on vacation next week and have to decide about my knitting project. My WIP is too big to travel, so do I start a new small project? Or do I just pack needles and notions and buy yarn when I arrive? Or maybe both? I think both.

#[0] at one job (as a technical writer) I had to write a “truthiness standard” because I opened documentation authoring up to the whole company and quickly learned my internalized judgement calls about determining the accuracy of technical sources were in no way intuitive to most people. And again, this is technical information where (theoretically) it is possible to verify objective facts. If we get into more fuzzy areas where humans don’t agree? So much harder.

#[0] Yes, it’s hard for humans, too. Even when I’m writing about strictly technical topic where truth should be objective and easy to verify, there is still a huge amount of judgement. Sometimes I have to generalize to introduce a new topic, or give just part of the explanation that’s appropriate for a certain audience because the full truth would only cause confusion. An expert reading the thing written for a novice might object it’s inaccurate. So many judgement calls
