@npub1rwn…9e2l I'm not really impressed by either, although for different reasons.
I really like about bsky that you can use your own domain as username/handle; and (like with email) your experience shouldn't be affected by your choice of server. From a technical point of view: that client and protocol are completely separated.
Mastodon on the other hand has (unlike bsky) real decentralization (and far more content - at least for now).
Sadly, neither seems to have notifications on Android 😔

@npub1rwn…9e2l just in case you weren't aware (and its better to do a restart early, if necessary):
Moving servers requires (is supposed to require) the recovery key, as far as I understood it. And the official clients don't create such a key when you register a new account.
So you might want to start a new account (and this time with recovery key) while your account is still young
