@npub1hpc…hjn3 There's nothing wrong with it in my opinion, except maybe it makes you look older than you probably are. If it were me, I'd add a nice bright coloured hanky in the breast pocket and an unexpected bright shirt/tee-shirt?

@npub1hpc…hjn3 When I was recovering from 2 cancer ops and during chemo, many friends asked what they could do, or suggested outings etc. No-one came to do my cleaning, laundry, washing up. One person came with cake AND made the pot of tea. I was weepy and disappointed I have to say.

Up until recently opposition from Tory MPs to their leader just didn't happen....and THAT is how they keep the negative press at bay. Vague promises now are made in order to get into power..the only thing that matters is what happens AFTERWARDS, and no-one outside his inner circle really knows that with any certainty.

Those overtly on the left have been removed by Starmer from central roles, precisely because of newspapers/TV and the inevitable shark attacks they induce from those who want the status quo.

@npub1hpc…hjn3 There was a short video plus an article very recently about the after effects of AMOC stopping, how it would arise, how far along that trajectory it already is and what is the likely 50-100yr future as a result. Well worth a read/watch as it's all science.

"Future generations"...my prediction (which I might have to carve into a big stone somewhere protected) is that they'll totally reject everything from our era, in fury, rage, betrayal and lack of choice. It'll be the new wave of religionist-style re-set. By 'everything' I mean EVERYTHING we hold dear now...communications, art, music, fashion, architecture, transport, industry, education.
