Mocha and chai are still vastly underrated for #JavaScript testing. They run in node and in the browser. Chai supports expect, assert and should style testing. They are excellent.

I can think of little else I want to land more than the custom attribute proposal. We pretty much get Angular/Vue directives natively in the browser.
