This is were the real time collaboration makes it difficult as any any session could have to send data to any other session on different front ends. Also here the migration involved moving all data to a different storage system, so the downtime was not avoidable anyway. It could have been shorter though.

Some well made ad blocker like uBlock Origin doesn't cause any problem to CryptPad, it doesn't break any functionalities.
Do you think that adding some kind of ad blocker detection mechanism and displaying some kind of error message will help? We are not sure of the kind of implementation you are suggesting but we assume that with ad blocker "detection" it's a bit all or nothing.

Well if you are able to be more specific about some examples (screenshots with notes) of what you say possibly compared to the softwares that are not like that, it would be helpful. A mail at contact AT cryptpad.org would be useful. What you are saying would be "5/ privacy respecting software are not good enough".. Two ways to help.. Tell us what to do and/or give us much more money.

The Document application is restricted to subscribers on CryptPad.fr, only for the creation of new documents. There is no waiting list. However the app is still unstable and data loss can occur esp. in collaborative settings. We are working on making it more stable.
For a more reliable experience we still recommend our Rich Text at this stage.
