I understand some of you may be wondering why I’ve been absent from Mastodon lately. Well, it’s not just here; it’s all my social media platforms.
The reason behind this is a few things:
We’ve been going through some personal issues that have taken a significant amount of our time, energy, and personally, my mental health. I simply haven’t had the motivation to get on and engage.
I’ve been quite busy at work lately, which is exhausting, especially considering my health issues. When I get home, I’m usually exhausted. LOL. Additionally, during the day, I don’t have much time to post. You should check out my RSS app.
I’m hoping things will improve regarding the first point, and I’ll be able to snap out of my mental state. I genuinely enjoy all my interactions here and the communities I’ve been a part of so far. Of course, I don’t have any control over the second point.

I get there and immediately look at the back of the computer...
The damn speakers are plugged into the BLUE jack NOT the GREEN jack.
I plug them into the green jack and sound immediately starts to come from the speakers!
Client: Oh, WOW. I though that was green. Looks green to me.

Just an PSA for those looking to circumvent the #TikTokBan, looking for a #VPN could be the answer but PLEASE do not use a free VPN.
They are a huge #Infosec nightmare as they almost all sell your usage data, location, etc. Find a good, paid VPN service.
I’m also hearing though that people are having issues where TikTok is still blocked when using a VPN.
Be careful!
There is an alternative, although it’s early stages, that has potential. It’s called @nprofile…0ghv.
