@npub1g0t…tvm4 this strikes me as very influenced by Oxbridge term dates and accommadation practices, and would only apply to first years really.

@npub1g0t…tvm4 just to observe that this may change, as it has previously with French and Latin. I wonder whether practice in the EU may shift gradually, now that the linguistic dead weight of the UK has gone.

@npub1xjt…9ml2 yes, I subscribed to The Independent for a bit, who aren't as bad but still not great. I think SS is a true believer, and I worry about her ties to Labour. I've given up figuring out the Graun. Folk like Bindel, Freeman and Moore jumped or were pushed, but SS remains in full flow.
