I have had great success with Backblaze B2 object storage; it is usually cheaper than other. Also having more than one object storage option might be helpful for resilience .

I got an overage, that was tiny, on a vm that auto updates, returns redirects and pings other hosts. In the past it wouldn’t hit 25% of the bandwidth. Feels like the calculations have changed.

Finally migrated my HD Home Run server to a nix container. It is not a pretty config, but it works.
Two more lxd cotainers (umbrel and docker) to migrate to nixOs.
