It’s not the same. It’s not symmetric with Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, etc. The radical branches of Islam are currently much more dangerous and don’t have a serious opposition from within, nor the self-criticism to admit that political Islam leads to chaos followed by totalitarianism. Bitcoin is the asset that costs the least to protect from theft and debasement over time (once you learn how - which in itself has a price for non-technical people).
Does the rest of the world want to denominate the prices of things according to this asset? I doubt that - the majority of people spend most of their monthly salary at the same month they have earned it (including paying interest on previous debts), and save only a little, and since employers will always prefer to sign long “fixed income” contracts with their employees in a currency/token that loses value over time, the employees would prefer that the prices of most things will be stable compared to their salary.
In developed countries that make a lot of effort to keep the unemployment rate low, Big expenses could be denominated in BTC, like house prices, rent and of course things that depend a lot on international markets (vacations, fuel, flights, electronics, etc.).
But in developing countries, who knows?

They will work together. You have nsec.app on your phone and an extension on your laptop’s browser. The extension generates a key for the communication with the bunker, and you approve it once on your phone.
The websites that you browse don’t need to even know that you are using a bunker. They will simply use NIP07.

I find temporary keys more confusing. I think in case the extension couldn’t be found (or getPublicKey() fails), it should tell the user: “Please approve the encryption key on your bunker app: npub1…”.
Also, unrelated, it would be nice if nsec.app could temporarily pause permissions to an app without deleting it completely, and if the oauth-like popup specified in bold text: “Please enter the passphrase only if you trust this device to keep a copy of your main key!”.

When you login with user/bunker-url, it checks if window.nostr is defined and tries to call window.nostr.getPublicKey(). Otherwise it generates a temporary key like in the old behavior. I didn’t test what happens if the extension does not give permission for getPublicKey(), but if it returns undefined then the old behavior should run.

I'm writing this note from my laptop's Chrome with a fork of #Coracle that communicates with an https://nsec.app bunker on my phone, and all the communication between my laptop and my phone is signed and encrypted using #nos2x (instead of a random keypair).
This allows me to logout from #Coracle and login again, without having to re-approve the permissions on nsec.app.
I think it will be even more useful with lockable extensions like @nprofile…ufkf , so you could logout from Coracle, lock the extension, and when you want to post something unlock the extension (with a password) and login to Coracle again - without having to re-approve anything in the bunker.

Anyways, do you know why the initial permission requests were a little buggy and I had to restart the nsec.app?
The push-notification permissions are on, but I wouldn’t trust that mechanism (I have a little experience with app development). If nsec.app is open in the foreground, it should always wait for events via nostr websockets - maybe even allow to connect to more than one (in addition to relay.nsec.app).

Yes, there is even no need to confirm logging to a new app themselves.
They will only use one app: snort/coracle. I want to approve them once on the main device that stores the main key.
I think it could be implemented simply by changing the code of snort/coracle to use window.nostr.nip04.encrypt/decrypt and window.nostr.signEvent/getPublicKey - so the same nsec-npub keypair in the extension will be used to communicate with the bunker, instead of generating a temporary nsec-npub keypair on every session.

Well, I’m guessing it’s a temporary npub to send & receive private messages between my laptop and my phone (over nostr too): the content to be signed/encrypted/decrypted and the signatures/encrypted/decrypted-data.
I was thinking about using nsec.app as an alternative for the nsecbunker.com daemon/dockers: to run a shared account that can be controlled by multiple users (like for a company) - by keeping a computer with a Brave browser open with nsec.app and allowing my npub and my friends’ npubs. But this means I would need to re-approve new npubs if we log out (which means logging to that computer).

@npub1xdt…ntxy nsec.app is great - I really don’t want to type my nsec outside my phone! A question about connecting from my laptop: I’ve installed Alby on my laptop’s Firefox and created a new nostr user (different from the one on my phone).
I then tried to log in to coracle.social with the Bunker URL and got the attached message on my phone.
This npub does not match the user in my Alby extension. Each time I tried I got a different npub. Does coracle.social even use the extension when you log-in via a Bunker URL? Otherwise it means that I would need to re-approve a new npub each time I log in to coracle.social.

The point is that you login with an email and the <your-email>.ln2.email becomes your lightning address to redirect to whatever wallet you are currently using (and also your NIP-05 address).
This way you can easily switch between wallets without having to tell all your friends to update your details and not send you money to the old address.

How does an antizap harm the original post publisher?
Maybe we could have a special kind of zap (call it positive-zap) that:
1. Is not received immediately, but is held by the AntiZap machine for 1 week.
2. Apps need to promote positive-zaps over legacy zaps with gamification: show them in bold, prioritize them, etc. so followers who like the post will prefer using this positive-zap over a legacy zap.
