I wonder if it's possible to get a small paragraph added to the readme to clarify the current state of DRF given it's leading to confusion amongst some? I'm pretty sure you have both seen some of this and the longer it goes on the worse it will become I believe?

I have this idea for an audit log in my new Django project. I have a base model which inherits from Django Lifecycle Hooks https://rsinger86.github.io/django-lifecycle/
and I thinking of combining that with Django Activity Stream https://django-activity-stream.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html to create an Audit Log that covers every model.
What do we think? Good, Bad, Terrible? #Django

@nprofile…m624 finally had time to read this.
So many good thoughts in there. Nothing that hasn't been talked about before but the arguments are compelling. I need to reread it to make notes and consolidate some ideas, namely:
1. Can we limit the drive by interactions (e.g. feature requests) until a level of community status has been achieved? I think the data is present, just not used.
2. This leads me how we quantify these interactions into levels, what makes a contributor vs maintainer?
