@npub1y98…fhhs @npub1xs6…4pga as someone who takes the London-Paris route regularly, I agree. I've rarely been on a Eurostar with more than a few spare seats, it looks like it's at capacity irrespective of day or time of travel.
Eurostar has the added complexity of border control, which requires additional staff and physical space that they don't have, neither at St Pancras nor Gare du Nord. So they would struggle to significantly increase capacity.

Some of their first PC compatible, a few years younger than the 8bit CPC range, with new technology like 3.5" floppy disks 💾
That's when they pivoted to business machines rather than fun hobbyist machines and why I upgraded to a Commodore Amiga 🙂

On the train between Paris and Barcelona. We just crossed into Spain: no passport control, no delay. The contrast between this and the Eurostar journey yesterday, that started with a long queue, security and passport control, is striking.
Freedom of movement is one of the best things the EU enables for its citizens, we need to make sure we keep it and extend it.

Quick explainer on how the French election system works by someone who is French and has watched all the explainer videos he could find.
This is the election for the MPs. there are 577 of them. It is run over two rounds. The aim for each party is to win a majority of seats (289).
