@npub1ccn…czwu I studied world religion in university. Truly fascinating. First, gods were in nature to explain it, early pagan, indigenous, etc gods. But as we understood nature more, gods move to the sky, greek/roman gods, judaism, but still interactive. Then as we understood more of that, gods moved to unknowable ethers (new testament, modern religion) speaking less directly to us. It happened globally! Amazing to study.

@npub189n…satx Well, my family name starts in America in the 1600s by an Angolan African slave. He bought his freedom, married a white woman, and became what later became known as Melungeon, early American mixed raced folks in the Appalachians.
The branches of my family tree got whiter and whiter, made its way to Florida about 6-7 gens ago, and been there ever since (til I left).
