While the labels are Nintendo, when connects to a Pc in the Xinput mode, the buttons register as if they were an Xbox layout (hit take: the correct layout).
I've used them with both Bluetooth mode as well as directly connected vis the usb C.

@nprofile…mnnj I have 4! They're totally sufficient for most usages. The flipped buttons (physical layout is Nintendo style) are a little annoying, but if you just ignore the label and know that the A button is at the bottom position and B on the right, you'll be fine.
Steam also has a software option to "flip" them to the labelled positions, which is nice for kids who haven't gained the muscle memory of where the buttons are (or are used to the Nintendo layout).

I had a couple of hours to kill while my son attended an event. Ended up tethering my #SteamDeck to my phone, and I was able to flawlessly play a multiplayer session of #GenerationZero as well as have a voice call going for around three hours in the car. Was a great experience.
This device never ceases to amaze me.

@nprofile…d98k Hard agree. The best I can come up with (besides numbers go brrrr), is I know the resolution ratio's better for 1080p than the 800p of the #SteamDeck because I'm too lazy to learn them. It gets worse for my ultrawide on my gaming rig.

IMHO, the #pinetime works quite well and isn't too scary. After upgrading the firmware, the device is pretty set and forget.
Ive had mine for a couple of years now, and I still like it.

My son just got a new phone and #Gmail account. Everything setup just fine. A couple of days later, #Google locked him out ("we've detected unusual activity") and wants a new phone number.
