True. Not really my problem since I'm always on a VPN. People choose whether to use a VPN or not. Then again, insecure by default doesn't seem ideal. Is it really not possible to "mirror" to/from relays using a hosted aws relay so that I don't accidentally doxx my home IP?

I got hamstr working, but that runs on desktop. In general I think ws:// on desktop won't be an issue. On IOS it's a pain in the but though. So the answer seems to be running your own relay with SSL... But again, it won't get any events. So what do?

I'm running my own tor relay, but it's kind of pointless since it doesn't get any events. So I use the cleanet ones where all the cool kids are hanging out. Unfortunate that I'm doxxing my IP to all these unknown relays.
