Trying hard, this morning, not to be soft. To replace wimpiness with gratitude.
But dang, it's cold!!
Occupants of the northern most part of the planet (and peeps in Melbourne and Tassie) will laugh when I say it was 11˚C in my bathroom this morning and close to 0˚C outside overnight, I am sure!
Thankful for a wood-burning fire and an electric throw rug.

You may like to know that the Affinity Suite is currently on sale for 50% off. No subscription. Perhaps there'll be one in the future for fancy Canva-integrated collaboration, but the base products will always be free. I'm an optimistic soul, so I believe them.
Yes Affinity apps can open native Adobe files. I've been a satisfied customer for many years, happy to endorse them.

An Obsidian user on Medium recently lost an entire vault to data corruption because of an encryption plugin.
I’m very sorry this happened to them, and that they didn’t have a backup.
Truly, if our notes in Obsidian can’t function without features that exist only in that app, we’ve shackled ourselves to the wall of a prison without a door.
Always have an exit plan! Always backup your work! And never lock all your data with a key you don’t own.
