Living off a single tap with no loo flush, hot water only from a kettle, and the sheer amount a family of 3 use really does help drum home how tough folk have it elsewhere in situations where water is scarce or you've only got a single source for an entire community. It's given my teenage daughter plenty of food for thought about how much stuff is taken for granted.

New little friend found while on our staff away day (clearing brush and ponds for a nature centre - backbreaking but enjoyable stuff). This little fellah had the most amazing orange markings on his belly and toes
