Trisquel does have an Aarch64 version available, but it's unlikely it will work at all;

The only distro that seems to properly support Aarch64 is Gentoo, which is acceptable if you make sure to set ACCEPT_LICENSE="-* @FREE -Artistic -NPSL-0.95" (it is possible that there's a few other proprietary licenses in "@FREE") and avoid ebuilds with an incorrect LICENSE (for example all the Linux ones - use a free version of Linux instead; https://gnu.org/software/linux-libre).
When it comes to Aarch64 compiling with gcc, it seems 85% of ebuilds will compile and result in mostly working software if you compile to little-endian output; https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/AArch64-Options.html
You'll have to handcraft a GNU/Linux-libre image, but in the end it'll probably work just as well as a handcrafted AMD64 image (but would have taken much longer).

The shipping company knew it wasn't allowed, but still delivered it to him.
Once he was advised it wasn't allowed, he told them to take it back, but rather just stealing it from him and leaving it at that, of course some mouthbreathing judge will convict him of "scary radioactive terrorism".

It's hard to show in 2D, but I'm sure those who aren't NPC's can 3D render it in their head - if you can see the light coming towards you, you can also see that same light slightly reflected in the mirror at an angle.

Those are sufficiently large programs that would be quite trivial to slip proprietary malware in and have such go unnoticed.

The way trademark law works would allow you to legally sell a car called; "Not a Mercedes", although Mercedes-Benz would likely still send a cease-and-deist if they found out.

Free distro maintainers tend to actually check claimed source code for binaries and determine if there is source for such binaries, or if the binaries are proprietary and remove them if so.

rms has noted that it is acceptable to use a distro that is nonfree by default if you remove the proprietary software and use it in freedom.

If anyone ever writes free peripheral software for video encoding, obs will be able to support that, although I doubt anyone will bother when CPU encoding works fine.

@nprofile…xnqn Gentoo does now offer more pre-compiled binaries, but they're built on computers running proprietary software and for stuff like firefox do things like compile with the telemetry USE flag enabled - so I don't use them.
Binary package support in portage has been mature for years, it's just a matter of compiling the binaries.
I compile everything from source and I have no problems doing so, as I don't try to compile garbage.

Gentoo is a proprietary distro by default, but it is possible to use in freedom.

"Open"BSD and "Free"BSD are chock full of proprietary software.

@nprofile…6waf Nvidia GPUs don't merely have a secret instruction set - they have digital handcuffs as well to prevent you from replacing the proprietary software with free software.
Starting from the 900 series, the fans won't spin up without a proprietary program loaded onto the card, with a signature preventing you from replacing it, meaning the card can only be used at idle clocks (terrible 2D and 3D performance).
The 700 series and below do have free peripheral software due to a lack of digital handcuffs.

Most people thing it's just "Linux", it's "open source" and Torvalds wrote the lot with just a bit of work.
Too bad Linux isn't even fully source-available.

If people really knew, they would be writing "systemd", or "GNU" or "LiGNUx".
