@npub1smu…juec what I think is worse is that there is no ipv6 in the GitHub CI infra. GitHub host a big part of the worlds open source project but it is incredibly difficult for those to run test suites to verify that the ipv6 actually works. So it is no surprise that GitHub open source projects seldom test the ipv6 functionality.

I have made a minimal #AlpineLinux image for BananaPi BPI-F3 with 6.6.52 kernel: https://dev.alpinelinux.org/~ncopa/riscv/alpine-bpi-f3-mmc.img.xz
unxz it, dd it to a microSD card, and boot it.
It has also support for CIDATA, so if you in addition plug in a USB mem with a vfat filesystem with the label CIDATA, you can add a user-data file with your ssh key:

The spacemit K1 kernel for the #BananaPI BPI-F3 is horrible! They created a new repo, importing everything from linux-6.6.32 as "initial commit" (so you get no history).
Then the first commit after that is "Update for v2.0rc3"
3330 files changed, 3265138 insertions(+), 6467 deletions(-)
Good luck reviewing 3 millions lines of code to find any regression!
Sure, I can build the kernel and run it, but it is almost impossible to work with this.

I have merged OpenSSH 9.8 to #AlpineLinux edge. With this update you will not be able to establish new ssh connections til you have restarted sshd.
So make sure to restart sshd when you upgrade so you don't get locked out.

Today I learned that busybox netcat can connect to unix sockets. This means we can add lxd/incus provider to tiny-cloud without need to depend on any extra packages like curl or socat

Been fighting a nightmare bug in busybox awk. It all started yesterday when I was looking into fixing CVE-2023-42364 and CVE-2023-42365. I found out that git master did not trigger the POC. With git bisect I found the commit which coincidentally fixes the issue. Cherry-pick. all good.
Today I got a report that busybox awk was broken. The "fix" introduces a nasty regression. Some more research revealed that the commit is very questionable.
So now I'm reverting it, and we are back to start.

The work for #alpinelinux 3.20 release is progressing. riscv64 is now the build bottleneck again. 537 packages left before we can do a release candidate.
I really hope we can get it RC1 out this week.
