yes. Although being actually in government can be an excellent way of showing people how unfit for the job a party is. It's one thing to snark from the comfort of your regular question time seat but quite another when you actually have to perform. Of course, that means they play the part of victim - "the other boys won't let me play, it's sooo unfair. And they steal my lunch money". Expect plenty of that.

yes. The reason most of our travels always included at least a tent and sleeping bag. If I listed the places we've ended up sleeping, many just wouldn't believe.

also the time between harvest and consumption, with so many produced distantly, hasn't helped the flavour. Nothing quite like an in season home or locally grown strawberry is there.

I kinda know what you mean. I love the different Persian type rugs - afghans, north African etc and I think they're wonderful value but the price, even of your quilts, is just that bit out of reach.

a few years back Lynyrd Skynyrd released a track actually called God and Guns. Unless I completely missed something about it it was the most dreadful goddy gunny dirge ever. I imagine though that it went down a storm in the trumpy community.
