Could we funnel more adoption through the service industry?
- Tips are exchanged millions of times each day.
- BTC is universal and can be purchased with most fiats.
Is there a way to print BTC bills where the recipient can claim the BTC from a QR code and transfer it to their wallet?
Or how about simplifying the entry process: walking them through creating an Npub NOSTR account, connecting a wallet, and then allowing them to claim Stats/BTC from those bills?
🤓 Could money be reloaded onto those bills and redistributed?
This might be a common-sense idea that has been tried before, but I haven’t seen it. I usually pay tips in cash, but I want to change that to support #BTC or #NOSTR adoption moving forward.

In the fiat world customers can chargeback their payments from a vendor to recoup monies or request a refund via a service level agreement.

NOSTR needs a PunkBusters Service similar to how video game servers can detect cheating in online gaming. #NOSTR should allow a similar integration for AI detection. It would be cool if Damus / Primal ect. had the capability within their platforms that users could enable to flag or remove what is not an organic expression.
In addition what if those platforms gave a profile score others users could see determining the authentication of user organic expression compared to AI creation, notes, and engagements.

Onboarding for new users is still the challenge. Users are used to logins and pw with another one of their accounts working as a backup. Also, understanding the benefits and how to convert over from platform to protocol theory, the average user online doesn’t understand. If somehow it was made to feel the same and convert their current user experience that might make them feel safe. But npub and nsec can be scary for those not already involved in the crypto space.

Anyone know of an app or a method of accessing urls that need a Login?
Since moving to #nostr and deleting my other accounts my family & friends send me videos / articles from Facebook Instagram, TikTok, etc., that I’m unable to access or view now. No big deal I know but sometimes it’s worth the view!

I agree with you, I am seeing more meme hot takes and polarizing content within my feeds as time carries. I joined NOSTR hoping for less of that but I would imagine as users pour in value might be harder to find, depending on what the user considers valuable. Some ppl just post trash 🚮 chasing the attention bug.
Value is different for everyone. Within NOSTR I do see a community of thoughtful, well-researched posts and constructive interactions. But it’s a different niche at the moment due to its current adoption and developmental stage.
On the flip side, those in the know of NOSTR do seem to be cliquish. They only engage / zap one another back and forth rather than contributing value around other topics of discussion. When zaps are measured as a present filter the “rich” can buy the market.
I love ❤️ NOSTR because it offers the users full ownership and interoperability which other social networks don’t. Figuring out the rest will take time. Maybe it’s the clients that support NOSTR that will need to help drive the change?
