The only reason big tech sneakily opts you into things and doesn't keep you informed is because they are (simply put) doing evil things. They don't respect you, you are just numbers in a bank account.
If you were informed you'd choose against their data hoarding and the squeezing of every last cent out of you. You'd choose sane amounts of privacy. The only reason you don't have other choices is because of already insane amounts of monopoly.

Microsoft enabled the notorious "Recall" with the last update (for Windows 11 only). It's part of the OS and can't be uninstalled. This software stores metadata about EVERYTHING that appears on your screen, including passwords/urls/images/videos/any messages you send or emails etc
To disable this gross spyware, run the following as admin on the command line:
Dism /Online /Disable-Feature
/Featurename:Recall

Just worked it out, it took less than 3 years to hit 100 contracts as a Limited company vs 5y 6mon when I was sole trading. Not sure if more reputation at play or just more assurance for customers regarding perceived legitimacy 🤔
