I realize now that one of the greatest gifts I’ve been given by the almighty God of the universe is God fearing parents.
I can remember having family worship growing up. We sung hymns and read the Bible together as a family. I can remember my father singing or whistling hymns and gospel tunes while washing dishes or doing other work around the house. I find my self doing these same things today.
I just paused before writing this while listening to one of my favorite contemporary gospel bands Maverick City Music the song is “Most Beautiful So Beautiful” I realized how my parents have shaped me and my behavior.
If your parents have raised you to love God and Christ, or they raised you with structure, boundaries and strict discipline, you are better for it. You know this! Unfortunately there are those who have not been raised this way and they don’t realize how powerful what they’ve missed out on is.
If this doesn’t resonate with you that’s ok. It will resonate with someone, and in that moment God will be praised.
This is what I’ve been created to do. Praise God, spread peace, love, and the gospel message.

Agreed. There is a mountain. Until it’s exposed exactly how enormous the inefficiencies and deficiencies of the USPS are it will continue. The USPS is just one example. Im sure there is much fat that could be cut in government, as well as private enterprise. However as we all should know there is no incentive to correct inefficiency when the money pockets are endlessly deep.
On the contrary when someone’s private capital investments are being squandered in a way that doesn’t produce the intentions of the investors, that calls for analysis, evaluation and restructuring. In other words, folks will get fired or repurposed in a way where they will perform. When the worker realizes they will only get rewarded when they add value behavior changes.
I’m not the first individual to bring into question the idea of privatizing the USPS. My wife sent me on an errand early this morning to the Post office to mail one of her EBay sales. I had a few thoughts on how I could do it better, and how amazing and important the shipping/mail service is, so I shared a few thoughts. I also have a co-worker that owns multiple UPS stores so that thought further pushed me to imagine how it would look if I could franchise a US Post office and make the service better for my community.

Perfectly understood. Not sure there would need to be a constitutional amendment to make this type of change to the USPS.
With all the historical context taken into consideration relating to what groups were able to “level up” their economic position, there should be sound economic reasoning for making changes to infrastructure within a market place that claims or strives to be free.
Part of the reason we have the poor economic/monetary policies here in the USA is because of the pandering to and consideration of special interests. Allow free markets to exist in conjunction with releasing the restrictions on private enterprise to develop and you will see dramatic increases in innovation and health competition across all markets.
True capitalism will allow all people groups to advance/prosper. What we have now is phony capitalism where by monopolies and cartels are formed by lobbyist and special interests.
Allow people to be free to peruse their aspirations and you will see human behavior changes. Time preferences will lower as people begin to value their future more.

Simple question here:
If all this legislation did pass how would that affect how Bitcoiners and folks who want to use Bitcoin in the future? Would they stop using Bitcoin wallets? Would they stop using Bitcoin…? The answer I believe is no.
The legislation would create a “white market” where exchange would happen “underground”. Innovation towards finding new technologies that can work around the legislation would sky rocket. The legislation would create a never ending game of waak-a-mole. Not to mention this legislation would probably send bitcoin’s exchange rate to the U.S. dollar to the moon!
The point of my response is to say that NOTHING can stop/regulate Bitcoin. There is no useful reason to give light to all these government/legislative attempts to regulate Bitcoin other than if your the business of announcing these events. If you’re a policy watcher, or you’re paid by a company to make or respond to policy would be the only reasonable explanation for giving these events any attention whatsoever.

This is a genuine question. How many users of #nostr, or any other platform, do you believe even know what a NIP72 nostr community is?
Just to add context, I have no idea what it is either. I do not understand how nostr works (relays etc..).
I’m on nostr cause I understand the fundamentals. I post, I interact with a different class of people that are not on mainstream social media, I cannot be removed from nostr, I own my “account/content” via my private keys, and for me most importantly, I highly value and prioritize my freedom, ownership of property, and my privacy.

Go outside and meet people at work, church, a club, organization etc. Begin to participate in local events where you’ve met these people. Share your time with them and create human bonds. Help build or add value to the existing organization/people you’ve decided to connect with.
After doing all of this, introduce something new/different you want to develop to the individuals or organizations you’ve created bonds with. Those that feel there is value in what you’re doing and want to share time with you will join and create your “own community” you’re looking to create.

Other than it being unattractive to see a toilet seat up, why is “the toilet seat up” seemingly a trigger for so many? I never did get this.
Full disclosure: I prefer the toilet seat and lid closed. I think it looks more orderly when you enter a bathroom. It’s just my preference. I’m intentional about closing both the seat and the lid.
With that said, other than aesthetics why do you believe it’s so troubling to some folks to see a toilet seat up?

I’ve been here since the begging and there is always new stuff. It’s almost as if folks are making stuff up to purposefully keep folks from understanding what’s going on. Lol.

Gotcha well explained, and from what I take from what you’ve written I wholeheartedly agree with what you’ve expressed regarding bodily autonomy.
I will say that there is a strong interconnectedness between property ownership and rights as I see it and from what I’ve studied in my examination of history. If you give away millions of acres of land as a means for a group to establish an economic base you are also giving those groups “rights”.
Similarly if you deny, legally repossess or exclude groups from owning land/property you in fact are saying the exact opposite…one has no “rights” or are not entitled to “rights”, wouldn’t you say?
