The backspace button on my keyboard failed. The problem appears to be not the key itself, but where the keys goes is no longer sturdy enough to keep the key in place. I got it fixed but I don't think it will last. Either I have to stop making mistakes when typing. Or I have to start looking for a replacement.
I guess it's the last minute to get a new keyboard before they all contain AI-enabled cloud-connected firmware and require an Android app to configure..

@npub12ld…d8ag @npub1nua…w5fu More (flexible) demand is needed before anyone will install more turbines. Else the new turbines will drive the (already negative) prices lower and never make a profit. This also where thermal storage helps, by creating demand during windy Times. 👍

For the next month, Hourly electricity prices are volatile in Finland, as transmission lines to Sweden are under maintenance. When it doesn't wind, prices go fast up as we can't compensate with cheap swedish hydropower. And when it does wind, prices go to zero or less as we have nowhere to export excess wind power...

First TVO financials after starting the Olkiluoto 3 plant have been made public. TVO is a so-called "Mankala" corporation, so it must sell electricity to it's owners at production cost. Dividing produced electricity with turnover, the nuclear electric cost is 28.61€/MWh.
Previously they stated old nuclear (OL1 & OL2) cost was 24€/MWh, so new nuclear (OL3) cost comes around 33€/MWh. The difference is probably mostly debt repayment.

Due to oversupply of solar and wind, electricity spot price went down -50c/kWh in Germany. Dragging prices negative all around the continent up to Finland.
German customers will still pay fixed 30c+/kWh due to Germany's inability to deploy smart meters, prerequisite for consumer spot price contracts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
