I felt unusually cold for a couple winters. Finally discovered I had anemia due to decreased kidney function. 🤷 My wishlist now includes a towel warmer.

@npub19kr…8m4r Besides the Devil Strip, which you mention, I'm familiar with the Banyan Project by Tom Stiles and others: https://banyanproject.coop/.
If the coop model is stumbling it would be useful to learn why. State coop laws could be one reason. I think it would be in South Carolina, although I am no expert in corporate law.
But beyond actual coops, it's possible for nonprofits to have employee board representation. Are there any? And if not, why not?

@npub19kr…8m4r I just finished "What Works In Community News," and it's great! I'd like to see more about journalism cooperatives in the next edition, including any nonprofits with employee representation on their boards.
