My friendly local games store is running a #Warhammer #AgeOfSigmar #Spearhead tournament tomorrow which was the motivation I needed to finish painting the models for it last weekend.

@npub19lt…qfjk There's a whole bunch of "free" QR code generators out there which automatically run things through their own link shortener.
A friend got caught out when they found that after a week their QR codes were disabled because the redirector wanted money from them.
It prompted me to throw together https://dorward.github.io/qr-web/ - it took me rather longer to write the rant than it did to write the JS (and I've just updated it with a couple of links to your blog as its an excellent reference).

As a professional not-a-woodworker I suspect it might be cheaper to start from scratch.
The problem is that now I have an urge to build one and call it a shed.
(This is a project I have neither the time nor the skill for).

@npub12r6…zlyj I have one of those on my TODO list. My plan is to find out the height of the latest version and then use air drying clay to build a volcano on the base to bring it up to the right height. (And then cover the volcano in Citadel Skulls).
Not sure how I’m going to paint it yet. Might look at Imperial Fist Contrast to start it with a bold yellow and then drybrush up through orange and red then pick up dots of black on the edges.

Bonus feature is that the living room one twists off the wall so if a friend spends the night on my sofa bed they can turns the lights off from under the covers instead of stumbling around my furniture in the dark.

@npub19lt…qfjk My experience is that you can’t beat local so you can (a) drop into their office and ask, face to face, for an update if they drag their feet and (b) you can drop into their office and sign paperwork without delaying things for days shunting it back and forth in the post.
Warners in Tonbridge were acceptable when I used them. Doubtful they are close enough to you to qualify for the above though.
