@npub1j4v…z8hn Yeah the group blocks thing does make sense as a solution if we concede that "quotation" is the right type. I'm not sure, honestly. The discussion in the Slack this afternoon sorta ended with a consensus that there's really no post type dedicated to the actual intent of _sharing_ which is kinda bonkers.
But, at the same time, I don't think anyone needs yet another post type, so maybe let's just stick to bookmarks?! Idk.

@npub1j4v…z8hn Alright, thanks! I see that now, and upon inspecting my "links" (which are notes with a quote inside the repost block and commentary outside of it) I see that the commentary is being left out.
That's good to know, and easy enough to fix. Still not sure about what the right post type is (because the term "bookmark", to me, — as I just mentioned in the indieweb chat — is distinctly at odds with what I'm trying to do.)

@npub1wjw…ue5t Hi, thanks for the feedback. I've already gone with that solution, for now. It works OK as a patch, as long as I don't have a need for full email separation between emails. If you run a personal mail and a couple of side-projects, though, it's not ideal. I'd like fully separated inboxes, and judging from your UserVoice, I'm not the only one either.
Hope you get on to that pretty soon!

IndieBlocks: In the "Syndication" block, I would like a block option to specify prefix and suffix for the links. Could work inline like the taxonomy listing block, or just be field(s) in the block options.

In that way, your post had some great outcomes. Because it connected likeminded people, who don’t necessarily think every solution is found at the extreme end.

I will say that the "barriers to entry" are higher than I've become accustomed to over the years. But, as someone who thinks online communcation peaked with bulletin boards, seeing conversations like this gives me hope.
