From what I know - CentOS as we knew it - a RHEL clone - is dead.
There is only CentOS Stream now - something between Fedora and RHEL.

I hear more and more voices from Community that #OpenZFS development pace has increased too much since its broader adoption on #Linux - less testing - more bugs - less stability - more problems.
It was a lot more stable/safe when development happens in #FreeBSD/#Illumos land.
