@nprofile…240e a lot of it is identity based, people invest in ‘their’ language, framework etc in much the same way they invest in their football team, an attack on it is an attack it on them, it being the best boosts our their self-esteem. It’s tribal, sometimes that group identity can be useful, and a lot of times it’s downright toxic.
