When I was reading this, some thoughts were passing through my mind. If you can trust each other - hold each others hands - you both will gain a surplus in the present or future because of trust, or at least one will gain a surplus. So trust is based on voluntary action - be willing to hold hands -, in those words trust is "never" possible when one of the two parties obliges the other to trust. How can you have a honest, working and flourishing society when the one thing - trust - is not where it is searched the most? Money, how can we trust money and therefor governments when it is enforced to us? We need honesty and trust, in the free market we trust, that is why Satoshi Nakamoto gave us bitcoin, a peer to peer electronic cash system.
What are your thoughts? Curious about other opinions, maybe a missed an essential part.

We are all part of the Belgium Bitcoin Embassy, a group of belgian toxic maximalists with a monthly meetup at 21th of the month in a restaurant where we can pay with LN. So we have our own small telegram group, and we discuss this via Jitsi most of the time. It is a Flemish speaking happening, maybe something important to note. The Belgium Bitcoin Embassy has also a big groupschat on telegram.

Depends on what you're goals are? Wanna know more about bitcoin? Start reading and listening about bitcoin. You've got already a small list, so you know where to start! The more I know, the more I realize I know nothing, the more I want to attain knowledge, so that is my goal and there is where I put my time and energy in, proof of work!

Recommend me something to read! I've read The bitcoin standard; Mastering bitcoin; Layered money; Shelling out; Money, blockchain and social scalability; Fossil futur and other articles on medium about bitcoin. What is on my list: Fiat standard; the price of tomorrow; The theory of money and credit.
Currently I'm reading Human Action with some other bitcoiners, like a bookclub, every 2 weeks we discuss 2 chapters.
I've listened to the Saylor series with Robert Breedlove, and the last 3 months I listened almost every podcast of Robert. I also listen the bitcoin standard podcast and what bitcoin did.
Do you still have something I need to discover about bitcoin?
