it's nice it worked for you. In my experience working with B2B products, dashboard, tones of data, etc, even designers who code won't have time / react knowledge to code it themselves. Having someone who is a really good react dev and really good designer is quite rare.
That designer who code used to work when I was working in agencies and it was presentational websites or e-commerce. But for WebApps the stack became so complex that it's a challenge.

Communication is the first thing you need. Before we start collaborating we need to start communicating. We need common spaces to communicate and both meet. Tools like Jira tickets, inspect in Figma, etc.

Alicia Calderón is talking about how she built a framework to help designers and developers collavorate better in her team.
We need good collaboration otherwise the product quality suffers. Great products don't know happen without collaboration. So true!
