A developer of https://stendec.io/morse/koch.html, which I used to learn #CW, Elvis Pfützenreuter, PU5EPX, I believe, has told me that he seems to remember they removed Farnsworth spacing from the website because they received several complaints from other users claiming that #Farnsworth compression is detrimental to learning, so they ended up removing it. I learned at 20/12 approx. What do you folks think about Farnsworth spacing when learning? Pros and cons? Thanks!

160 m #FT8 with a 5-m wire, a 64:1 and a tuner. Pumping 12W, wonder how much gets to the ether. Heard as far as Norway.

I opened up a MFJ GrandMaster II Contest CW Keyer today, to take a look inside, and I wonder why, seeing it is based on a Zilog Z-80 microprocessor made me happy. It reminded me of my early computing days.

Is there any easy repair for a cheap SWR meter when the needle, that should be pointing to 0 or 1 is actually pointing a bit to the left?

Studying the 2-m and 70-cm repeaters I can excite every day from home (IM98ri99) [that is, without the help of tropospheric ducting] I have found that about half of them are behind rather tall mountains; I suspect the knife-edge-effect or diffraction on the crests of these mountains is the reason. In the picture, a 1050-m peak (Penya del Salt de la Mort, EA5/AT-056) at ~40 km from my place is possibly the reason why I can reach a REMER repeater at Ardal (EA5/AB-032, 160 km) from home everyday.
