Dreaded Discussion Board from online class. I'm forced to reply to 14 posts introducing a classmate. Prof started- where she was from, how long she's been teaching, her family, her many hobbies, her favorite season & she's not a great cook. Many students wrote, "I'm (name), I'm from (town or state), my major is (major). I somehow have to come up with a multi sentence reply to these people. Without it sounding like I'm hitting on them. I don't have strong enough social skills for this. #adulting

Pop art was never was my thing when I was a kid but now I love it. I have so much respect for artists. I wish I had the disposable income to support more of them.

Every summer I forget just how drained my body gets when the humidity hits. I feel SO much better with regular swigs of LMNT or Vitassium. Look after yourself.

It's very warm and humid here today and my wood floors are randomly and loudly cracking throughout the house. It sounds like someone is walking around upstairs but I'm the only one home. It's a little unsettling.

After attempting to fix the issue myself & failing miserably, I'm returning the #laptop. It broke after a week of very light use. Back it goes. Good riddance.
So hey, I'm in the market for a new #laptop that's under $500, with Windows 11 installed. Got any suggestions? I know to avoid HP. 🙄 #ComputersHateMe I literally need something for online schoolwork and an occasional knitting/crochet pattern. Smaller the better. Doesn't need to be fancy but it does need to work when I push the ON button.

Although I've only had it for less than a week, the laptop won't turn on. I mean, it blinks on, there's something written on the screen, but it blinks off before I can read what it says. It's plugged it, so I know it's not a battery issue.

My birthday gift from Husband & the kids is a new HP laptop. I haven't had a real computer other than my phone for 5+yrs. I need a laptop for school. I've been using it all weekend. My major complaint - you can't adjust the font color and the font color currently in use is too light. I need black. It's a light blue. It makes it really hard to see anything in screen. I can't do dark mode, that gives me headaches.
How do i fix this? #computer #accessibility
