Lots of #aviation people and #avgeeks have seen this before, but for others, it is a very cool music video from OK GO that'll kinda blow your mind. Shot over many flights in a zero-gravity airplane, it is wild and worth your time.
Starts out pretty tame, and then gets more crazy until the end.

While this might look like a simple #woodworking project - a small picture frame - it represents something quite significant for me.
For about six years in the late 80s/early 90s, I owned a custom picture framing shop and art gallery in California. I made all the frames and my wife cut the mats.
You can see my old Mitre Vise in the pic. Glad I kept it, makes the job easy and the corners are spot on.
I used to make 5-10 frames a day, almost an assembly line thing. This little one came out OK.

You need no further proof that #KamalaHarris is a real, authentic human than to see her tipping a couple of Miller High Life’s on #StephenColbert last night.
I am sure the choice of brew was a calculated effort to bring in some more Wisconsin votes. Had she picked some fancy schmancy craft beer, the right would have labeled her a west coast elite.
The cherry on top? Faux News is losing their sh*t over this. That means it was effective.

After hearing the network TV WX guys talk about massive travel disruptions for this week, yesterday, there were very little delays and cancellations, and today as as good as our NAS can get.
Once again, TV #weather people go big on hype, overstating the inbound WX when reality is not bad at all.
If you want the real story, ask @ingalls or any GA or pro pilot you know.

@npub1867…mfsf Well done. I have always shot prime lenses thru my career as a pro shooter (news and advertising/commercial) but am close to jumping into a Canon 75-300mm just to get bird shots like yours. Can’t really justify the L version, but my wife has the version they sell with their kits for her 70D and she loves it, does some nice work with it.

After we installed our new pond/water feature in the backyard (basically in the forest), something has been jostling the rocks around.
Put my #trailcam out there for a week, and hit paydirt today.
It’s a big freakin’ #owl. We’ve heard plenty of owls here, but never saw one, until now.
