@npub1vu7…nmuv In London we performed as much as possible in the round for the stadium audience to see, but as the primary (much bigger: 80k vs 750M+) audience is broadcast, most of the blocking will always be for the camera.

I find the run up to a family holiday massively stressful. It's always far worse than anything I've experienced at work. I'm dreading the expense (already sunk), the airport, the flight, the expectation to enjoy it and not spoil it for everyone else by letting that stress show.

Daughter's best mate has made it through several rounds of interviews and tests to spend the day at British Airways Waterside HQ for shortlistimg tests for their fully funded pilot apprenticeship scheme. Really quite excited for her: she has the perfect temperament for a pilot.

Off to a Little Mix Tribute show tonight with my daughter.

Does anybody work in an open plan office with these desk mounted acoustic baffles? Are they high enough for two people to have concurrent calls and block enough sound?
I'm leaning towards a tall floor standing version, but hate the idea of my garden office looking like a corporate hell hole.

Can I rightly assume 'skull grip' glasses are for people with no ears or never bend down?

It's usually mid-meeting when I'm trying to move the call into another window and look at a different tab. It's not always during a video call.

@npub198t…hasj I did see another person, walking through Newbury town centre the other day with a bunch of scouts and wearing his. Made me wonder what, in fresh air, reason he felt the need.
I'd happily wear one if I was likely to give someone else a cold, but unless you're wearing full FFP3, I don't see the benefit.
