I just did a code review of something where the author decided the best way to do communication between two threads was writing a text file into the installation folder of their python package and I'm just aaaaaah.

I remembered that I have a frame that allows me to increase the height of the head side of the mattress, so that's what I'll try first, but still thanks for the links 😊

A wedge pillow? Interesting... I also got some neck issues (stress...) and sometimes have to throw out the pillow because of that (which my shoulder than usual doesn't like), maybe that's a thing to try.
And I already was a medical mystery with that chronic vertigo of mine I've had for more than half my life now that doesn't have any medical explanation, I could have done without a second mystery 😅

Mine only started 1.5 years ago after a bad sinusitis. Head colds have been my kryptonite my whole adult life, but never that bad. Now I almost constantly have a stuffed nose, often pressure in my frontal sinus, yet all fine according to CT and allergy tests. It's a tad annoying.

Well, the good news is that I got out of GPN without catching COVID (according to my daily tests), the bad news is that I'm dizzy & headache-y AF thanks to either the weather, still unknown allergies*, new allergy meds, or all of that.
So most of this work day was lost & I just hope I'll be back on my feet tomorrow morning.
* my ENT gave up trying to figure out my chronic sinus issues, all allergy tests came back negative, now my case has moved to the ENT people at the university hospital

I'm not gonna lie, that took some brain power, and it's not yet ready to merge because docs and tests are still missing, but I'm kinda proud how I managed to implement 2FA support based on OctoPrint's plugin system, simply by adding one new mixin and two new template types. I even already have a 2FA plugin implementing TOTP as well, proven to work with both my YubiKey and Google Authenticator.

The last couple of weeks were a bit too much between work and some personal things, and so I decided that this time I'll take a break *before* I hit a burnout.
Tomorrow is a public holiday and I'm also going to take off Thursday. Fridays I don't work anyhow (three day weekend for two plus years now to keep the burnout at bay), so that will be five days of doing stuff that I want to do vs that I have to do.
I hope that'll recharge the batteries 😅
