"worker efficiency" is a neo-capitalist, master v/s slave mindset. Workers are not property or machines to be further "tweaked" to peak performance. "If" they cared about worker welfare they could do the following:
-Improve workplace air quality, studies show higher concentration levels & happier workers
-Remove bullies & shit managers
-decent pay & conditions, pay better than minimum, better rights & entitlements
-4 day work week
-treat workers decently
-worker reps on boards

education, like the nhs, social care, housing, etc, needs money to "perform" well. Without which those public services just struggle to survive. The solution is simple, tax wealth, corporations, close off shore, prosecute evasion

just one of many problems, another one is the winter fuel payment, now to be means tested, w a 37+ page form to fill. Most are unable to do this. Saves a couple Bn, harming irreparably millions, w above norm deaths & more debt on the least able to repay
