Yesterday I was just thinking about the justice system… IN SPACE!
Like, if there was a murder on the 6-8 month trip to Mars, how would the rest of the crew handle the situation?
Do you confine the murderer to quarters and have a trial by Zoom with transmission delays?
Do you turn around? Send the murderer back? Toss the murderer out an airlock since nobody can stop you?
