Idea: electric motorcycle has synth that generates awesome combustion inspired engine sound, taking speed and hypothetical gear as parameters. The sound is played on the rider’s Bluetooth headphones.
Additionally: the sound and parameters and rough location can be shared over internet and streamed to an audience who actually appreciate the noise.

A long time ago, before keychain and strong passwords, I had a LinkedIn account and did all the clickies. I hunted all the leads and made all the friends. And then one day LinkedIn announced they had lost all their passwords in a leak and I wanted to quit my LinkedIn account and they would not let me. It became quite a heated conversation with several LinkedInners but I succeeded. I think they added me to a black list, When I try to start an account now (just for laughs) it throws a hard error.

The MA TypeMedia programme has evolved, but it stands solidly on the foundations that Jan Willem started with. I'm grateful for all the years we worked together as friends and colleagues. This was not always easy, and there is much to reflect on. But there was only one Jan Willem Stas. 3/3

Jan Willem had to fight for space and budget and recognition. He planned the year. He picked the teachers. In 2008 all his efforts paid off when the course graduated to a full Master of Design, after the first accreditation. From 1996 until his retirement in 2015 Jan Willem was the promotor and organiser of the tri-annual international Gerrit Noordzij Prize. 2/3
