@npub1g0t…tvm4 it’s a really good point. My current boss is so determined to only hire fully trained and experienced people that he’s in a desperate situation, and to such an extent that the business might go under. Ridiculous!
I grew up in NZ, which, at the time had slow trickle immigration and seemed so far away from everything that few wanted to move there. Employers HAD to employ on the basis of transferable skills and then train up to fill gaps in experience.
