Once you see, you can’t un-see.
There’s no point to consider Bitcoin as an investment to sell it at a later date when its price vs. FIAT money appreciates. This would mean moving from an infinitely deflating asset (Bitcoin) to an infinitely inflating asset (FIAT money, $, €, £, ¥, etc., or more appropriately FRAUD MONEY).
If we did the same things that governments (across the world) did and continue doing, we would all be fraudsters, traitors, and violent criminals.

Hi John, thank you for the analysis, I’d appreciate if you could keep us informed with what will actually happen ‘on the ground’ in El Salvador.
There’s a lot of ‘come to El Salvador’ propaganda IMO, especially in BTC circles, and every time I check the prices and reviews it doesn’t really appear a compelling value-for-value offer. I’m not saying it isn’t great, I don’t know, I’ve never been, but from my research it looks overpriced, especially when you pay in Bitcoin.

Pros - On/off ramping no longer required. In a world of continuously increasing capital control, this is a good thing.
Cons - USDT/USDC are at best digital FIAT, they are going to zero vs BTC, however, this will slow down a bit orange pilling the early majority. IMO we need another 3-4 cycles for this to happen.

Welcome to NOSTR ✌️😊🤙. I’m new as well and this is how I’m finding my way here. I invest time in reading latest and trending posts, I start following what I like or even sparks my curiosity. Then I use centralised platforms (X, YT, Meta, etc) to cross reference sources, watch podcasts and look for the correspondent people here. It’ll take some time before I get what I’m looking for but I put that effort in the ‘proof of work’ basket! It’s a small price to pay for supporting FREEDOM.
