To become climate neutral until 2040 the state of Bavaria needs to build 104 wind turbines every year. With the first quarter of 2024 coming to an end we should be at 26 turbines. To keep track of the actual progress, Greenpeace has installed a counter in the Munich city center. Below is a picture I took today of the counter

250.000 people participated int the #climatestrike today in Germany,
At first I was like wow! Then I did the Math: More people attend Bundesliga games every weekend. (The 4 largest Soccer stadiums in Germany alone fit 300.000 people)
So next time, let’s get more people on the streets to send a positive signal towards #climatechange and to #endfossilfuels

@npub1cmg…rzd2 I mean the setup with only one badge next to the name. If I understand correctly, as soon as one link can be verified, I get a badge?
So if I change my name to Roni, copy your picture, your bio links (which will not verify) and then add one link of my own (which can be verified), then I will get a badge next to my name and people may think I’m you unless they check all the links themselves?

@npub1quy…kauq Also wenn es dir um die Technik geht schau in die USA. Mit Waymo etc sind da schon viele Self-Driving Anbieter auf dem Markt und es gibt viele Berichte wie Fahrzeuge sich im Moment in US Städten bewegen. Ob das auf europäische/deutsche Städte übertragbar ist? 🤷‍♂️

What keeps pulling me back into browsing #Twitter every once in a while is the lack of good #startup, #founder, #entrepreneur, #venturecapital and #finance accounts.
I’ve searched for accounts to follow using all these tags and found only very few, and none of the power users I follow on Twitter. There is still a wealth of knowledge on Twitter that #Mastodon does not offer yet. If you know anyone please recommend them so I can #follow
