I'm still not sure, remember all those incompatible systems, BS such as adjusting the read heads in datasettes, super misleading screenshots on game boxes, very expensive software, games with 10 minutes of content, basic functions such as copying disks was purchased separately... No surveillance, granted. But a lot of other BS.

I have yet to see a SINGLE #AI tool that successfully carries out a complex task.
Mimic anything? No problem. Actually do something that comprises several steps? ALWAYS fails. In 100% of cases.

thing is, Windows won't get any better in regards of snooping and AI bullshit, so if you don't like that, you might as well take the leap right now. You can also dual boot, or have Windows in a virtual machine, if you need it for some things.
