The MAGAts want us spinning in circles about Biden’s age instead of uniting to fight against Project 2025, which is the real threat.
Don’t be distracted.

I’ve visited a relative in the UK who relied on an oil wick fired AGA for most of their heat and cooking in a country house. Yes, it’s very comfy in the kitchen. Learned how to boil water on the left plate, bake in the hot oven/slow oven. You wear layers in other rooms though and hope for a sunny day. The electric heaters in the bedrooms were on timers and didn’t do much. But the grass outside is always an amazing green, even on those windy days.

Exactly. How much stress can a commander in cheese handle at his age when the angry mobs are outside the WH? For him, it might be the other side of the coin from Jan 6. You can institute martial law but you can’t make the wheels of commerce roll again by force when the stock market plummets before the lights go out.

Yes it would be ugly. But then the folks with nothing left to lose will share their pain with those who previously lived very comfortably. “Welcome to our world.” It makes no sense but it is an understandable reaction of a host to a parasite that has been sucking blood out of it for decades.

The MBA programs in the US were probably the most single destructive part of our “educational” system, since they empowered this destruction by teaching smart young ‘executives’ how to sell these ideas by putting a slick colorful spin on destroying the Earth for the ultimate goal: growth of profits.
All in programs that focused only on business without requiring a well rounded systems view including science and people.

- spend some dedicated time with another person who means something to you
- put the phone away during both of these activities

New Hampshire would be my choice without severe political issues. But many there find it difficult to get a high salary job without commuting to Massachusetts and thus paying their state taxes on the earned income.
