I just passed on a message about scammers to my parents & realised how much safer it was when the government used te reo Māori names for government departments & Māori greetings.
Knowing basic info, eg “Waka Kōtahi”, for genuine communications is like having a code. Overseas scammers won’t use Māori. They won’t know kia ora, tēnā koe, or ngā mihi.
Knowing these words could determine whether communication is genuine, & from legit departments, or from scammers.
Basically, screw racism & NACTF🤷🏻‍♀️

I bought these from Thunderpants the moment I saw them – so maybe 10 days ago.
I was there to buy leggings bc I only had one pair & needed a second so I could put one through the wash without spending a day cold. But the moment I saw this fabric, I had to get it.
This coming from a woman who wears all black all the time.
They’re pretty cute (if you’re into brights, particularly orange).

Remember leg warmers? I want a pair for my knees. I had some when I was probably ~10, & wore them around my ankles.
But now I want 100% wool knee warmers. Do they exist? I have not so much as googled them, I just want some for my cold, cold knees 😂

If you ever wondered whether there was a limit to the number of tabs open in Safari, there is. It’s 500 tabs. At 500 tabs you can open no more tabs, without deleting some first.
It feels like my mum is telling me to tidy my bedroom. Chill out Safari. Just let me have 1, or 2 more. I’m an adult. I know how many tabs I need.

I lost my champagne diamond, 9ct yellow gold, 22 gauge nose bone yesterday.
Fortunately I had a spare, bc any L-shaped/bone piercing is going to get lost eventually, in spite of the “artisanal” double safety feature.
I’d like to try a ring (gold, but not spendy). 20 gauge, & a snug fit, unsure on diameter, but maybe if I measure the distance between the hole & the edge of my nostril it would give an idea?
Anyone got suggestions on where to buy, & what to try/avoid?

I just watched Hīkoi Speaking Our Truth: Foreshore & Sea Bed by Whatanui Flavell, & whoa. I was out of the country for all this & knew pretty much nothing about it. Helen Clark WTAF?
