Rubber banding on overscroll in Firefox, so nice <3
Haven't really followed why it's legally ok now, but hopefully a pattern we will start seeing everywhere. This is by far the most natural way to tell the user they reached the end of a scroll view and should have never been proprietary IMO.

Honestly, I would main a Galaxy Z Fold (or similar large foldable phone) if it ran Gnome mobile. Sounds like the perfect device.

So apparently Adobe updated their terms of service to train their AI on your content, and without accepting them you can't:
- launch the app
- uninstall the app
- cancel your subscription
- delete your account
- or contact support

@npub1d76…897u well, this is where some of the militancy comes into play. This feature was asked, and it was made clear this is not the target use case.
As a user, you have 2 choices: change your behavior to be able to use the software, or find another solution to your problem.
In this case, one extra setting would increase the group of people who can use the app. Is that a significant group size? No idea, but I know I'm in it 😄

Sometimes adding an option can open a completely new group of users to use your product.
For example, if Gnome Music supported other music library locations, like a different folder, an external hard drive, etc, it would allow me to use the app.
Not having the option means it was not designed for me in mind. It's ok, but it's has to be a conscious and defensible design choice?

Is it still maintained? There were many cool markdown apps on Gnome a couple years ago, but they all seemed to be unmaintained..

I just want to pick a folder of markdown files, and have a sidebar for the files, and the editor on the right. I've been thinking it's not that hard to build, but I ended up switching back to dotted notebooks and a space pen in the meantime lol

As long as founders retain more than half the equity, why does it matter if an opensource project takes VC money?
I'm currently raising money to build an opensource framework (with a monetization product built on top obviously), but that's so I can hire engineers full time and move faster. In exchange, VC gets a 20% stake. That seems like a fair value?

Welcome to the club! It's on all my machines. Honestly, you will miss Console if you don't want to layer it, and that's pretty much it.
If you use Nautilus actions to batch optimize images, resize videos etc you'll need tweaks in your scripts.
Other than this, it is bliss, and I know you'll love the ability to easily rebase on Rawhide when you wanna test the cool new things 😎
