Wenn ich mich wirklich auf ein Game freue und die Devs fürstlich entlohnen möchte, bestelle ich auch mal ein Game vor (Life is Strange), unterstütze es auf Kickstarter (Solarpunk) oder klemme mich in den Early Access, sobald es geht (Subnautica 2).

Bei Anime und Games funktionieren Abos bei mir leider nicht so gut :blobcatmelt2:
Irgendwie ist nie das im Abo enthalten, was ich spielen möchte, oder ich nutze die Zeit des Abos nicht sinnvoll und zahle ohne zu nutzen, oder oder oder..
Bin in den letzten Jahren dazu übergegangen alles auf Steam oder Ubisoft Connect interessant ist, nur in massiven Sales zu kaufen und mich für 10 € im Jahr bei nem Kumpel ins Crunchyroll Abo einzuklinken 👀
Damit fahre ich ganz gut.

Meine 2080 Ti ist damit nun schlussendlich auch ganz und gar nicht mehr wettbewerbsfähig 👀

Bei Before the Storm und dem ersten Teil bin ich mir mittlerweile gar nicht mehr sicher, welches ich lieber mag.
Wahrscheinlich Teil 1, da ich das Ende runder finde.

I know that was true for at least the first game.
I don't know if it was the case for the second part, too.
I'd bet that only the first two episodes are available in the first two weeks so that people don't post the endings on social media before the official release.
But that's just a guess.
The only game where I was always waiting for the new episode was Tales from the Borderlands :D

I don't even think two versions are a no-go, by the way.
I also bought the more expensive version of True Colours, because I wanted this extra stuff and I wanted to give the devs a little more money.
Because they deserve it, imo.
But this new third option is just artificially created to exploit the FOMO of people and incentivise them to pre-order to play earlier.
And that's not cool, at all.
Obviously blaming the publisher, here.
I'm very sure the devs had no say in this.

As a fan of the franchise I WANT everything the game has to offer, I just don't think they needed to do more than two editions.
Also the early access stuff is just an excuse to overprice the version without any real long term benefits.

Base Game: 49,99 €
Deluxe Edition (Base Game plus two outfit packs): 59,99 €
Ultimate Edition (More outfit packs, an exclusive cat quest / ig event and 2 weeks early access to the game): 79,99 €
You read that right: Two weeks early access.
This pre-order early access on the most expensive edition is so fucking toxic and bad. I just hate it. It kills my joy.

Klinke mich da ein.
BtS haben wir abgebrochen. Das lag aber wahrscheinlich auch großteils daran, dass wir es direkt hinter einen stundenlangen Playthrough von Teil 1 gehängt haben 👀
Beim zweiten hat das Setting uns leider nicht genug gecatcht um das Spiel in einem Rutsch durch zu spielen.
Einzig Teil 1 und 3 haben uns besonders stark an die Monitore gefesselt :D
Freue mich sehr auf den neuen Teil, auch wenn Square mich mit seinen Editionen und Boni wieder nervt..

Solange Riot Kernel Level Anti-Cheat voraussetzt werde ich Windows leider nicht komplett deinstallieren können, aber sobald dieser Damm bricht, bin ich komplett weg.
Bin aber frohen Mutes, dass eine Linux-Kompatible Umsetzung in der Zukunft nicht unmöglich ist ^^
Chrome habe ich auch schon rausgeschmissen, auch wenn Firefox mich nicht immer glücklich macht.. Aber dann lieber Chrome nur im Ausnahmefall nutzen statt in der Regel.

Kann ich jetzt nicht nachvollziehen, ist halt Ubisoft typisch Standard Edition mit dem Hauptspiel, Gold Edition mit Season Pass und Ultimate Edition mit sinnlosem Skin Schnickschnack.
Was mich eher nervt ist diese perfide 3 Tage Vorab-Zugang Scheiße und viel schlimmer: Eine Quest, welche nur für Vorbesteller erhaltbar ist. :blobcat_thisisfine:
